The Advent Calendar
The book cover for The Advent Calendar is designed to reflect the story's titular object with the underlying eeriness that builds up as the story is read. Using photography and Photoshop, I recreated the advent calendar and included imagery that directly references the plot and, in the process, grasped what it means to understand raw content and design based accordingly. I also kept in mind how the design would work in a physical space and what elements should be focused on to entice potential buyers to pick it up off the shelves.
